Curb Sneakers-Viral ad July 22, 2010

Here’s a recent project completed for a ‘pretend’ client called Curb.

Target market: 18-24 years old youth

The message: Curb sneakers make life simple

The concept: The concept shows a cut out image of the sneaker which has been stripped from colour and is just a plain black and white image. This is a metaphor for simplicity and something that is uncomplicated. Youth today have so much going on in their lives, and pressures all around, and are constantly bombarded with different messages left, right and centre. This is idea  for simplicity uses the black and white image and puts it on top of cluttered background so it stands out from everything else with a tag line “Simply Curb”.

Interactivity with the brand: a person who finds this ‘graffitied’ image around the city, takes a photo and downloads the iphone applications for Curb. This allows them to upload the photo on to the Curb sneakers website, put comments, rate other people work and win prizes.
